Zooey Deschanel and Elizabeth Banks: "My Idiot Brother"

Gearing up for another new project, Zooey Deschanel and Elizabeth Banks are pairing up with Emily Mortimer in a new comedy titled "My Idiot Brother".

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the three lovely ladies will be playing sisters, with their "idiot" brother to be portrayed by Paul Rudd when the movie begins shooting in New York next month.

As for the film, it finds Zooey, Elizabeth and Emily's characters all living together - with the girls deciding to let their male sibling move in with them.

A synopsis tells, "Rudd escapes living with his over-bearing mother by rotating in and out of the homes of his three sisters, each with quite unique personalities and stories to tell. Banks is focused on her journalism career and on the brink of making it big. Deschanel plays a bisexual whose aloofness is damaging her relationship with her girlfriend (Rashida Jones). On the contrary, Mortimer is so consumed with being the perfect soccer mom that she neglects to realize that her marriage is in shambles."
