Zoe Saldana's Musical City Stroll

Jamming out to some music on the go, Zoe Saldana was spotted sharing an her ipod with a friend as they made their way through New York City this afternoon (May 11).

With a bright pink purse slung over her shoulder, the "Avatar" star looked super chic in a blue and red stripped dress that she paired with gladiator sandals and a grey cardigan.

Earlier this week Zoe celebrated the launch of the very first Cosmopolitan magazine for Latinas, which she just graced the cover for and a bunch of loved ones were there to show their support "Had such an amazing time last night...... Here w Mom, @Teamvic & @DagobertoGalan. Thank you @CosmoForLatinas!" Zoe tweeted following the event.

As a first-generation Latino-American, Saldana admitted she's not trying to represent any particular demographic by supporting the magazine but she would love to see the mag touch "the first generations of me."

The 33-year-old actress wore a beautiful lacy dress to the event which she hopes will help inspire more diversity on glossy covers saying, "There are certain magazines -- there's just not enough diversity on their covers".
