The trio of actresses brought their colorful looks and personalities to the publication's pages while each opening up in an in-depth conversation for the accompanying column.
Highlights from Zoe, Juno and Bella's interviews are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to NYLON!
On today's concept of fame:
"I think because of the Internet and everyone's obsession with celebrity and paparazzi and blogs and phones being hacked, we have an incredible amount of access to other people's lives. People now expect more than a performance. They expect to know what you do and what you're wearing and who you're f**king and what you ate that day and what time you took a s**t... [When I was at Jennifer Lawrence's house] she was like, 'Can we just stay home and watch TV all night? I can't leave my house.' And I was like, 'Jen, I'm not going to bulls**t you. This isn't going away tomorrow.'"
On her personal style:
"I feel like everyone thinks that everyone should look the same - clean cut. If I go to a party and my hair's messy and my shirt's ripped or whatever, it's like, 'She's a crackhead.' I'm like, 'Do I have to look like a f**king perfect Barbie doll?' The cool thing about fashion is that if you do it right, it's an art form and it's a way to express yourself."
On becoming an actress:
"By the end [of school] I was like, I'm just gonna do acting, and if that doesn't work out, then I'll pursue something else. Why would I aim for the fallback plan? That seemed a bit s**t."
On being mislabeled Brad Pitt's mistress by a tabloid:
"I was just like, 'This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read!' The worst thing was, I started getting emails from my friends and family in Australia. They were like, 'How could you? You didn't even tell me!'"
On L.A.'s big life lesson:
"When you get off a plane in L.A. it's like no one gives a s**t what you've done; they wanna know what you're going to do. It's kind of a great way to look at life."
Little Birds director Elgin James, on Juno:
"She's probably one of the toughest and bravest people I know. I'm not saying that just as words. I was in a ganG for 20 years, you know, and hands-down this little English thing is the most loyal, tough, brave friend that I have."
