Wrath of the Titans
Trumping the competition for the third week in a row, "The Hunger Games" comfortably remained in the top spot at the box office to kick off the Easter holiday weekend of April 6-8, 2012.
The Jennifer Lawrence starring Sci-Fi/Action/Drama film based on Suzanne Collins' best-selling book raked in an estimated $12.9 million on Friday with its weekend total predicted to wind up at a solid $33.5 million.
Holding off strong showings by two newly released contestants, "The Hunger Games" continued its dominant performance by remaining in the top spot at the box office over the weekend of March 30-April 1, 2012.
The Jennifer Lawrence starring Sci-Fi/Action/Drama film based on Suzanne Collins' best-selling book raked in an estimated $18.8 million on Friday and another $26.2 million on Saturday with its second weekend total predicted to wind up at a solid $63.5 million - which puts its cume past the $250 million mark.
Showing some love to their English fans, the cast of “Wrath of the Titans” showed up at the film’s London premiere tonight (March 29).
Liam Neeson looked to be in good spirits as he posed for the paparazzi at the BFI IMAX theatre, joined by Sam Worthington and his girlfriend Crystal Humphries.

Gathering together at the Lincoln Square Theater, co-stars Liam Neeson and Sam Worthington posed for photographers and greeted awaiting fans ahead of the debut screening.
It’s one of the most highly anticipated action films of the year and a new trailer for “Wrath of the Titans” has been released online.
