Suiting up for a promotional appearance for his first ever Spanish language film, Will Ferrell hit the red carpet for the premiere of "Casa De Mi Padre" on Wednesday (March 14).
Held at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the 44-year-old, along with fellow castmates Genesis Rodriguez, Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna, greeted press and posed for pictures before heading in for the debut screening of the Pantelion Films flick.
The Hispanic comedy focuses on Armando Alvarez (Will Ferrell) and his family, who are looking for ways to save their father's ranch, but end up finding themselves in a war with Mexico's most feared drug lord.
In a recent interview with E! Online, the "Anchorman" star dished about why he thought this film was perfect for him, saying, "I just thought it would be really interesting, different, funny to place myself in a Spanish language film," also adding, "you haven't seen someone from American comedy commit in a way like this."
Ferrell also expressed that this movie was a challenge while adding that he believes it's "always great to do things that scare you a little bit."
"Casa De Mi Padre" is set to open on March 16 with a limited national release of about 380 theaters.
