Coroner Releases Whitney Houston’s Body

Now that her weekend autopsy is complete, Whitney Houston's body has been released to her family by the coroner.

According to a report, the late “Greatest Love of All” songstress’ family is making funeral preparations for later this week, and will be picking up the body in the next day or so.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told press, "The family is making arrangements. I don't know when the family is going to have her body picked up. But they are making arrangements and sometimes it takes a couple days."

As for the official cause of death, Winter stated, "The investigation is ongoing. It's too early to tell."
