Just as the highly-anticipated news of his "Two and a Half Men" replacement went public, Charlie Sheen spoke out to congratulate Ashton Kutcher on his new job while throwing a jab at his former CBS bosses.
The 45-year-old actor took to his Twitter to show is approval of his named successor, writing, “#Winning Congrats to the cast and crew…CBS & WB..! My best to @aplusk !! The show must go on… You got the right guy! c.”
Ashton graciously responded with his own tweet back to Charlie, saying "#2.5 @charliesheen Thank man. Always been a fan, always will be!BTW you were ‘born big’”
Later in the day (May 13), Sheen gave a statement to "Access Hollywood" about the news, where he took yet another swipe at the "Two and a Half Men" executive producer Chuck Lorre, telling, “Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I. Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there.”
