"Twixt" Trailer: Watch Now!

Offering up a brand new look at the eerie big screen adaptation, an interactive trailer for the highly-anticipated horror flick "Twixt" has hit the Web.

Debuting the clip ahead of the film's Toronto Film Festival premiere, the spot adds insight into director Francis Ford Coppola's romp with the thriller-genre flick, which stars Val Kilmer, Ben Chaplin and Elle Fanning.

The film centers around "a writer [Kilmer] with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl [Fanning]. That night in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost named V. He's unsure of her connection to the murder in the town, but is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately he is led to the truth of the story, surprised to find that the ending has more to do with his own life than he could ever have anticipated," according to an IMDb synopsis.

Although an exact date has not been made public, the movie is expected to make its way to theaters later this year.
