'True Blood' Releases Season Five Poster

Generating fans' excitement for the upcoming installments, HBO has released the new poster for season five of "True Blood."

The Alan Ball created vampire series poster shows half of a woman's face with a tear of blood running down from her eye and a slogan reading, "Don't Cry. It's Back."

The popular series, which was created back in 2008, is based on the best-selling Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. According to the show's official website, the show is based on, "a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood," where "vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many remain apprehensive about these creatures "coming out of the coffin."

The thrilling drama features Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. You can sink your teeth into the new season starting June 10 at 9pm on HBO.
