Gathering together to talk about their hit HBO show, the stars of "True Blood" held a panel at the 2011 Comic-Con event in San Diego, California on Friday evening (July 22).
Held inside ballroom 20 at the San Diego Convention Center, cast members including Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer joined in on the festivities with Kristen Bauer, Nelsan Ellis, Deborah Ann Woll, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley and Alan Ball also on-hand.
He’s one of HBO’s hottest hunks, and Joe Manganiello chatted with Ryan Seacrest about what it’s like being a big star, as well as what fans can expect from the fourth season of “True Blood.”
Of his awkward encounters with the public, Joe explained, “This guy came up to me and said ‘Hey, can she take a picture sitting on your lap?’ and I said ‘It’s really not appropriate this is my fiance sitting here, I really don’t think it’s appropriate,’ and he said ‘Dude, this is my wife.’ and it’s happened multiple times. I don’t know if it was like they have their freebie lists, like if you ever meet him you get the hall pass.”
The "True Blood" lovers, who were seen buying an interesting combination of items - an assortment of Cadbury candy eggs and a flag - kept their eyes away from the impending shutterbugs while making their swift exit.
He attended the Los Angeles premiere of his hit HBO show on Tuesday night (June 21), and Alexander Skarsgard revealed some juicy details about the upcoming season of “True Blood.”
Of his vampire sheriff character on the show, the Swedish actor dished, “It’s a completely different side of Eric. He doesn’t know who he is so all that baggage is gone — 1,000 years of resentment and bitterness, the whole loathing humanity kind of stuff is gone.”
