With the Hollywood awards season in full swing, the 46th National Society of Film Critics Awards winners were announced on Saturday night (January 7).
Selecting the best in cinema from 2011, the National Society of Film Critics picked Lars von Trier's "Melancholia" as the Best Picture of the year with "The Tree of Life" and "A Separation" placing second and third, respectively.

Eager to check out Brad Pitt and Sean Penn's new movie, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were spotted at “The Tree of Life” premiere during the Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 16).
Held at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, the “Hollaback” singer looked fabulous in a designer cleavage-baring pant suit while her musician hubby rocked a black ensemble complete with his hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Deep in the heart of Texas, there’s an amazing film in the making called “Tree of Life” starring Brad Pitt. And his pregnant partner/babymamma Angelina Jolie took the kids to visit daddy at work yesterday.
The “Girl, Interrupted” actress, whose baby bump is growing by the day, showed up on the Smithville, Texas set of Pitt’s movie along with Zahara and Maddox Jolie-Pitt to lend some moral support and keep the “Fight Club” stud company.
