Tony Parker
They got married on 7.7.07, a very lucky date to tie the knot. But Eva Longoria and Tony Parker may be hitting some bumps in their nuptial road already.
Friends of the Desperate Housewives star and the NBA superstar say that there are already problems in the fairytale marriage. And it centers around Eva’s desire to keep up with the Beckhams.
You know you’re a big deal when Tom Cruise and Will Smith throw a welcome party for you. And that’s just what happened for David and Victoria Beckham this past weekend at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
The guest list read like a who’s who of Hollywood A-listers. Brooke Shields, Eva Longoria, George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Demi Moore, and Ashton Kutcher were all in attendance.
Back home in Los Angeles, Eva Longoria is on the set filming the fourth season of Desperate Housewives. Only this time around, the 32 year-old actress showed up with her own little cheering section - basketball star husband Tony Parker.
With Eva always front and center at Tony's San Antonio Spurs games, she's now getting what she considers fair payback. She told People, "Tony's been great. He's been coming to the set with me since we returned to Los Angeles – just like during the season when I was going to the Spurs games. With (his) season over, he's hanging out on the set with me. It's a lot of fun."
She had a dream wedding, and a couple of weeks of bliss leading up to it. But now that she’s back from her Caribbean honeymoon, Eva Longoria is all about getting back to work.
Filming for the new season of Desperate Housewives is underway, and it sounds like Eva has brought her positive energy back with her to the set. "It was a great wedding, but it was time to come home. I got a call from her this morning (and) she was already at work. She sounded so great, really upbeat. She's completely content," Eva’s rep told press.
There was such an incredible week leading up to Eva Longoria and Tony Parker’s wedding, it only made sense that the newlyweds would want to slow things down for their romantic honeymoon. And that’s just what they did.
The NBA Champion and his Desperate Housewife elected to take some time out in the romantic setting of Turks and Caicos, two islands in the Caribbean. While there, witnesses said the pair kicked back and relaxed.
It seems like the build-up to the big day was never ending. But this past Saturday, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker tied the knot at a beautiful, elegant ceremony at a French Church.
The 250-person guest list included Sheryl Crow, Jessica Alba, Mario Lopez, French footballer Thierry Henry, Ryan Seacrest and Eva's 'Desperate Housewives' co-stars Teri Hatcher, Nicollette Sheridan and Felicity Huffman.
As a follow-up to the Gossip Girls' story earlier today, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have officially tied the knot in a civil ceremony held today in Paris.
The ceremony lasted about 45 minutes, followed by a small reception which lasted about the same amount of time. Now, all attention turns to the reaffirmation of their vows in a second ceremony to be held tomorrow (July 7).
It’s less than a week until the French-set wedding of Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs MVP Tony Parker. And the couple has continued to blow off some pre-wedding steam by partying together in St. Tropez.
In an attempt to escape the week-before-the-wedding stress, Tony and Eva scheduled a slew of parties and fun events for themselves and their friends. As reported previously by the Gossip Girls, the his-and-hers bachelor weekend started by partying at St. Tropez’s Les Caves du Roy club this past Saturday.
It's down to less than a week until Eva Longoria ties the knot with Tony Parker. And while no strippers were spotted, the couple still seemed to be enjoying their ”his and hers” bachelor parties in St Tropez.
According to reports, the couple is currently staying with close friends in a ritzy $1600 a night hotel room. On their first night, Eva and Tony were spotted out with their pals at the exclusive nightclub Les Caves Du Roy until the early morning.
In a little over a week Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker will be united as husband and wife. And Parker isn’t divulging too many details.
Recently, Tony has been avoiding questions about the specifics of the big day, claiming that his wife is the one who knows all the details. “I don’t care where I’m going to get married - it’s a girl’s thing,” he told press last week.
