Opening up for the first time since his sudden split with actress Eva Longoria, Tony Parker tells that his focus is now fixated on the sport in which he loves - basketball.
The San Antonio Spurs star chatted with French newspaper Le Parisien, telling, "The most important thing is to stay strong mentally, even if these are very difficult times. I've taken refuge in basketball because that's what I've done best since my youth."
Parker continued to reveal that he's been leaning on "teammates, coaches and San Antonio" for support while trying to "make sense of things."
With the parting coming after three years of marriage, Eva and Tony filed for divorce amidst rumors of inappropriate texts between Parker and basketball player Jon Barry's wife, Erin Berry.
The 28-year-old also said, "My whole family has been around me through this." He added, "You have to keep things in perspective. I am, first of all, a basketball player. I've done this for so very long ... For me, it's been essential to be successful on the court."
