Tom Hardy's Rugged Cannes Arrival

An almost unrecognizable Tom Hardy was spotted arriving at the Nice International airport in France this afternoon (May 21).

The 34-year-old actor made his way through the terminal to attend the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in a Detroit Tigers hat, while he sported an overgrown beard.

In other news, the “Inception” star recently premiered his newest film “Lawless” at the star-studded fest along with co-stars Jessica Chastain, Shia LaBeouf, Guy Pearce and Mia Wasikowska.

The British actor joked to the French Riviera after the red carpet event saying, "I saw what it meant to be a movie star for a second and I quite liked it. Then I went, 'Nah! Let's go back to work.'"
