As a testament to how beloved she was during her life, the late Nora Ephron had a literal Who’s Who of Tinseltown personalities at her memorial service yesterday (July 9) in New York City.
Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks both arrived at the event, having worked closely with Ephron on her films “Sleepless in Seattle” and “You’ve Got Mail.” Ryan also starred in “When Harry Met Sally” with Billy Crystal.
Bringing the laughs to the NBC sketch comedy show, Jonah Hill took over the hosting duties on yesterday's (March 10) episode of "Saturday Night Live".
Kicking things off was a Cold Open sketch finding Rush Limbaugh (played by Taran Killam) laying into the “sluts” at Turbo Tax and other sponsors that pulled their ads from his show as a result of his birth control rant, after which Jonah stepped onstage for his monologue in which he gloated to the Studio 8H audience about having been nominated for an Academy Award this year - only to have Tom Hanks make a surprise appearance to put the "Moneyball" actor in his place.
With the most highly-anticipated event of the awards show season nearly upon us, the stars were busy making last-minute preparations for the 84th Annual Academy Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 25).
Among those attending rehearsal sessions at the Kodak Theatre venue were Oscar-winning female presenters such as Sandra Bullock and Gwyneth Paltrow, who had a good laugh as she ran through her lines.
Making for quite the star-laden spectacle, Hollywood's top names descended upon the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California on Saturday evening (January 7).
There for The 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as the "Moneyball" actor was set to receive the Desert Palm Achievement Actor Award from presenter Jonah Hill during the ceremony's festivities.
