Sure to make “Mission: Impossible” fans super excited, a new promo photo of Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt has been released.

In the poster, the "Top Gun" stud poses in character sporting a tough look on his face with smoke and flames in the background of the "Ghost Protocol" pic.

Meanwhile, Tom was spotted arriving at his New York City apartment on Monday (August 8) after taking a helicopter into town with wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri.

The 49-year-old actor later ventured out for lunch followed by a little movie location scouting at landmarks such as the Empire State Building.
