Taylor Swift’s VMA Win Vandalized

She’s still relatively young in her musical career, but tonight (September 13) Taylor Swift experienced one of the biggest acts of disrespect in MTV Video Music Awards history.

The “You Belong With Me” songstress had just taken the stage at Radio City Music Hall to accept her award for Best Female Video when she was rudely interrupted.

And none other than Kanye West was to blame for the snafu, as he felt the need to grab the mic from Swift and announce that Beyonce Knowles’ “Single Ladies” should have won the award.

Determined to be the bigger person, Taylor refrained from making any retaliatory comments, and simply left the stage. As a side note, Kanye was massively booed when his name was announced later in the show.
