Ethel Kennedy: We'd Be "So Lucky" if Taylor Swift Joined the Family

As you already know, Taylor Swift is officially dating Conor Kennedy and the country cutie just received a huge blessing from the family’s matriarch, Ethel.

Mrs. Kennedy spoke very highly of the 22-year-old starlet at the Television Critics Association panel on Wednesday (August 1) and when asked whether the singer would make a good addition to their famous family Ethel quickly responded, “We should be so lucky.”

Although the widow of Robert Kennedy downplayed her role as matchmaker for the blossoming couple, the 83-year-old is at least partly responsible for the romance.

According to Gossip Cop, Ethel and Taylor were introduced last year after the former attorney general’s widow requested to meet the songstress.

Conor and Swift linked up at a Fourth of July celebration held at the famed Kennedy complex and appear to be hitting it off famously.
