Movies Rock Kicks Off With a Party

It’s indisputable that music is part of what makes a movie so impactful. And the CBS network is gearing up for the first annual Movies Rock event. Last night they threw a massive party, and Hollywood’s hottest were there.

“Swimfan” babe Shiri Appleby showed up looking every bit the “girl next door” that she’s become known as. She wore a dark mini-skirt and cream-colored blouse, with grey knee-high boots.

Stacy Keibler dressed to get some serious attention. Sporting an animal-print minidress and some killer silver high-heels, the former WCW “Nitro Girl” provided an ample supply of eye candy for the event.

And “Alpha Dog” actress Olivia Wilde looked casually elegant in a pink/purple/cream colored floor –length dress. It’s hard to believe she’s grown up so much since her days on the “OC.”

Next Friday at 9pm EST, CBS will be airing the “Movie Rocks” show, with performances by Elton John, Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, John Legend, John Williams, Fergie and Usher.

Celebrity presenters will include Billy Bob Thornton, Charlize Theron, Cuba Gooding Jr., Danny Devito, Emily Deschanel, Harrison Ford, Jenna Fischer, Jennifer Lopez, John C. Reilly, Josh Duhamel, Kate Hudson, Matthew Broderick, Quentin Tarantino, Rita Moreno and Shirley MacLaine.
