“Sleeping Beauty” Trailer: Watch Now!

It hits theaters today (December 2) in limited release, and “Sleeping Beauty” looks to be quite the interesting film.

According to a press release, “This coolly shocking retelling of the classic myth poses its heroine as a rarified sex-worker, confronting ideas of feminine sexuality with bravado and precision.”

“Sleeping Beauty” stars Emily Browning as the main character, and she has received rave reviews for her performance in the flick.

The New Yorker gushed, “With her skin pallor verging on translucence, and a long, tigerish mane, she could be a Victorian dream of the untouchable, and you can picture Millais and Rossetti dropping their brushes at the sight of her.”

Also on the cast roster are Peter Caroll, Rachel Blake, Ewen Leslie, and Chris Haywood.
