Simon Monjack Buried Next to Brittany Murphy

Following the shocking news of his passing, Simon Monjack was buried next to his wife Brittany Murphy at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills on Thursday (May 27).

With about eighty attendees gathering together for a private orthodox Jewish service, family and friends mourned alongside one another after Simon's death this past Sunday, May 23, 2010.

Reports tell that the ceremony was presided over by Rabbi David Baron in the Chapel of the Hills before the casket was lowered into the ground next to Miss Murphy, as family spokesman Roger Neal told press, "It was Simon's wish to be laid to rest next to her."

Speaking at the service were Brittany’s mother, Sharon Murphy, and Simon’s mother, Linda, with the saddening get-together concluding with the playing of Brittany singing "Smile" with Simon on the piano.

While its thought that Monjack passed after suffering a heart attack, Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter isn't ruling out other possibilities, telling, "We're not sure if it is natural causes or a possible accident."
