Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Shia LaBeouf and Marilyn Manson were spotted together at Hennessey + Ingalls bookstore in Los Angeles last night (September 1).
The “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” stud sported a beard as he strolled around with the “Antichrist Superstar” singer in support of his new video for “Born Villain.”
Shia directed the video for Manson, and told press he had a fabulous time working with the controversial musician/artist.
"Marilyn Manson to me is an indelible figure. He's a big deal to me, and in my childhood, I don't know of a scarier figure in art. He, in my teenage years, was the scariest thing in the world, so part of me has always been intrigued."
LaBeouf continued, "The song has all these references to 'Macbeth' and all this Shakespeare and heavy theology, so we tried to make Manson's 'Un Chien Andalou' macabre 'Macbeth' — that's sort of what that became."
