Shailene Woodley: SBIFF Virtuosos Award Winner

Stepping out for a prestigious honor, Shailene Woodley took to the red carpet before the Virtuosos Award Tribute at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, California on Friday (February 3).

The "Descendants" actress joined alongside Producer Jim Burke while readying to receive her trophy at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival held event.

As for the Virtuosos accolade, it's "an award given to multiple up-and-coming actors for achieving a breakthrough performance."

With Rooney Mara, Melissa McCarthy, Patton Oswalt, Andy Serkis and Demián Bichir among the other honorees, SBIFF director Roger Durling said of the 2012 crop, “I’m ecstatic about this strong line-up of Virtuosos. They all gave us indelible performances.”
