Linda Evangelista: Seeking $46,000 in Monthly Child Support
Demanding a steep sum to help care for their son, supermodel Linda Evangelista has requested $46,000 per month in child support from her ex-lover and now-husband of Salma Hayek, Francois Henri-Pinault.
According to the New York Post, the 46-year-old former runway stunner took to a Manhattan family court yesterday (August 1) to ask for legal aid in attaining the grandiose amount, which, Magistrate Matthew Troy called "probably the largest support order in the history" there.
The model claims Pinault, who acts as CEO of Pinault-Printemps-Redoute, has not helped out financially since the child's birth needs the money, which totals $552,000 a year to pay for round-the-clock nannies, chauffeurs and security for 4-year-old Augustin.
While the final ruling won't come until sometime next month, Judge Troy seems to have taken to Miss Evangelista side, noting that many of the named expenses are "the extraordinary expenses that may be a part of the child's life."
