Stopping traffic with his dashing looks, Ryan Gosling grabbed lunch with a friend on Wednesday (February 13) in Studio City.

The "Gangster Squad" hunk sported a black jacket, gray shirt, and blue jeans with some sexy facial scruff as he walked through a parking lot.

Soon the 32-year-old actor will head to the Midwest for his directorial debut in "How to Catch a Monster."

Filming in Detroit, the fantasy thriller stars Saoirse Ronan, Christina Hendricks, Matt Smith, and real-life girlfriend Eva Mendes.
