Sunday night, Britain’s own comedian Russell Brand hosted MTV’s Video Music Awards. Brand had formally worked as a VJ for MTV, but was fired after coming to work dressed as Osama Bin Laden.
Brand, who had already been beating on touchy subjects such as politics, soon began on the Jonas Brothers. Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas, whose concerts have sold out in minutes, wear promise rings as a commitment to themselves to remain virgins until marriage.
