He’s no stranger to action films, and Robert Downey Jr dons his Iron Man suit once again in the upcoming superhero flick “The Avengers.”
The “Sherlock Holmes” stud recently talked with Total Film magazine’s April 2012 issue about the new project, due in theaters on May 4th.
Robert noted that it was different not working with director Jon Favreau. “He's like a brother. You don't know whether you can't live without him or you want to strangle him in his sleep. I just love the guy.”
As for his relationship to the rest of the cast, Downey noted, “I feel like a big brother to Scarlett. Chris Hemsworth has the whole package. Jeremy Renner is a serious actor who doesn't take himself seriously at all.”
Robert also loved working with Joss Whedon as a writer-director. “Perfect. During a scene I could say 'Is this right?' Ten minutes later he had three pages of options for me to try.”
