Rima Fakih Avoids Jail Time, Gets Probation

She’s been anxiously waiting to see what her DUI conviction would earn her, and Rima Fakih had a pleasant surprise in court today.

The former Miss USA dodged jail time and instead was given six months probation and 20 hours of community service by the judge.

Last month, Ms. Fakih entered a ‘no contest’ plea to charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol back in December in Highland Park, Michigan.

Rima will pay $600 in fines and also attend an alcohol safety class and a victim impact class as part of her probation.
