Looking to boost the economy in her homeland, Rihanna took part in an ad campaign for Barbados tourism yesterday (August 9) on the beach.
The “Russian Roulette” songstress looked gorgeous as the Face of Barbados in a long flowing yellow dress as she worked her posing magic for the camera.
According to the Barbados Free Press, “Rihanna has signed a three-year contract with the Barbados Tourist Authority (BTA) to promote the island. BTA chairman Adrian Elcock noted that production on the promotional campaign is expected to begin soon and will be launched in September, in time for the winter tourist season.”
The new gig is good news for Rihanna, as she was recently dropped from her contract as the face of Nivea because they deemed her public image “too sexy.”
