Rashida Jones' Jubilant Night at the 2012 Met Ball

Among the many stars joining in on a grand evening in the Big Apple, Rashida Jones turned up for the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' 2012 Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday night (May 7).

The 35-year-old actress prettied up the Metropolitan Museum of Art venue while clad in a drop-shoulder cream silk chiffon gown from Tory Burch with hand-painted/beaded flowers and Sergio Rossi kicks to complete the ensemble.

During the course of the festivities, Miss Jones roamed the grounds while checking out the art display amidst talking with famous gal pals Brooklyn Decker and her dressmaker, Miss Burch.

As for the celebratory occasion, this year's rendition of the Met gala ushered in the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' exhibition exploring "the striking affinities between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers from different eras."

The display is described as being "inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s while featuring "orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work."
