The Jonathan Liebesman directed Sci-Fi/Thriller flick starring Aaron Eckhart and Bridget Moynahan claimed the pole position after bringing in an estimated $36 million in earnings.
With his movies seemingly never failing to bring in the bucks, Johnny Depp's latest picture "Rango" has landed the top spot at the box office over the weekend of March 4-6, 2011.
Co-starring Isla Fisher, the animated chameleon-based Paramount flick took the pole position upon raking in an estimated $38 million in earnings over the past 3 days.
Gearing up for their movie's upcoming release, the stars of "Rango" attended the Los Angeles premiere of the animated picture on Monday night (February 14).
Held at Regency Village Theater, Johnny Depp was definitely a hit as he joined co-stars Isla Fisher and Abigail Breslin on the red carpet.
