Rachel Weisz Dazzles at "The Deep Blue Sea" NYC Premiere

Hitting the red carpet for her latest work, Rachel Weisz made a dazzling entrance at the New York City premiere of "The Deep Blue Sea" on Thursday night (March 15).

The 42-year-old English actress donned a burgundy abstract floral print dress and patent Christian Louboutin pumps as she entertained media members at the Brooklyn Academy of Music venue.

Set for a limited release in the States beginning on May 23rd, the Terence Davies directed and written film sees "the wife of a British Judge get caught in a self-destructive love affair with a Royal Air Force pilot."

Talking about the movie - which co-stars Tom Hiddleston - on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" the previous night, Miss Weisz teasingly told, “It’s a very racy story, actually. It’s about a woman who is having an affair with a much younger man."

"She leaves her husband and it’s incredibly shocking, and even today it would still be quite shocking," Rachel added.
