He hasn’t always walked the straight-and-narrow, but R Kelly is doing his best to comfort the families and children devastated by the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre last month.
The “Bump N Grind” crooner has just unveiled a new song called “I Know You Are Hurting” inspired by the folks of Newtown, Connecticut.
Though the sting of her death is still fresh in the air, so Whitney Houston's posthumous release of “I Look To You” featuring R. Kelly is almost therapeutic for her fans.
According to record executive Clive Davis, the newly-released track was a natural choice given all the work that went into it on both Whitney and Kelly’s end.
It’s one of the biggest court cases to hit the R&B music world in quite awhile, and R. Kelly’s child pornography trial is almost over.
In a massive development in the case, the “World’s Greatest” singer announced to the judge that he would decline to take the stand, saying simply, “I decided not to testify.”
It’s that time of the year again. Time for the 2007 American Music Awards, that is. And this year there are plenty of categories embroiled in fierce competition.
According to the list of nominees, Beyonce, Justin Timerlake, Chris Daughtry, and Linkin Park will be competing in three categories each, while Akon, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Young Jeezy, T.I., and Carrie Underwood each have two chances to take home an award.
