He's made quite the name for himself thanks to the hit HBO show "Game of Thrones," and Peter Dinklage has now scored himself the cover of the May 24, 2012 issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
The 42-year-old actress saddled up for the Mark Seliger shot spread while talking to the publication about overcoming his lack of height to wear his different appearance proudly - like armor.
Highlights from Mr Dinklage's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Rolling Stone!
On dealing with his lack of height:
"When you're reminded so much of who you are by people - not a fame thing, but with my size - you either curl up in a corner or you wear it proudly, like armor."
On finding serious acting jobs:
“It was hard. I was wondering, ‘How am I going to pay the rent?’ You need the work, that’s how you make your living. But I’m going to play roles that are appropriate to my size – it’s all about how real it is.”
On getting better when it comes to women:
"I was socially a little bit of a mess, in terms of confidence with the other half. You get a little older, you get comfortable. Women respond to comfort, and a sense of humor. I was always able to make them laugh, so that helps a lot. Woman on the whole are often not as shallow as men are. They can be, but they cut through things a little more easily than men do in terms of that superficial stuff."
