Penelope Cruz Premieres "Broken Embraces"

Looking radiant in red, Penelope Cruz took to the red carpet for the UK film premiere of "Broken Embraces" in London on Thursday (July 30).

Held at Somerset House, the Spanish actress was joined by director Pedro Almodovar for the day's fun-filled press duties.

The drama/thriller film finds "Harry Caine, a blind writer, reaching the moment in time when he has to heal his wounds from 14 years back. He was then still known by his real name, Mateo Blanco, and directing his last movie."

Aside from "Broken Embraces," Miss Cruz also recently filmed her role in the upcoming blockbuster "Nine," which co-stars Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Daniel Day Lewis and Marion Cotillard.
