Patrick Dempsey and Danica Patrick: Race Ready

Gearing up for race weekend, Patrick Dempsey and Danica Patrick were both out at Homestead Miami Speedway before the Indy Series practice and qualifying on Friday morning (October 9).

The duo are among the entrants in the Grand Prix of Miami, where the teams will be looking to close out the 2009 season with solid finishes.

A 2.5-hour sprint on the 2.3-mile, 11-turn Homestead-Miami Speedway road course, the race will being at 1:08 p.m. ET this Saturday, October 10, with live coverage on SPEED beginning at 1 p.m. ET.

In related news, recent reports tell that miss Patrick is entertaining the idea of competing in eight NASCAR races - but is asking for a whopping $8 million to do so.
