Before she was a household name, Nicki Minaj was rapping her heart out in her hometown of Queens, New York trying to make it big.

The "Super Bass" singer has officially made it but now you can get a look back at what she sounded like before the lights and big stage.

Young Money & Cash Money Billionaires, YMCMB, recently released a YouTube video of Minaj rapping “Dirty Money” before her days of platinum records. According to Gothamist, this video was shot sometime around the year 2007 while Nicki was creating mixtapes with Dirty Money Records.

The days of her natural hair color and mixtapes are now long gone and Minaj is taking over the entertainment world.
