Katherine Heigl Replaces Halle Berry for Bon Jovi Smooch

She’s been lying low as of late, but Katherine Heigl will be back in action in “New Year’s Eve” as she’s been cast to replace Halle Berry.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” gal will be starring opposite Jon Bon Jovi and rumor has it they’ll be kissing at the film’s midnight moment.

Heigl’s involvement in the flick came at the perfect time, as she had just pulled out of another project titled “Adaline,” and she isn’t looking for a huge time commitment.

And given “New Year’s Eve’s” ensemble cast, including Robert DeNiro, Sofia Vergara, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, and Zac Efron, Katherine won’t have too much on-screen time.
