Nelly Adds Some Flavor to “Ellen”

He’s making a career comeback with his new album 5.0 that hits stores today, and Nelly dropped by the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” to prove he’s still got chops.

The “Country Grammar” rapper performed his new single “Just a Dream” as well as his chart topping “Hot in Herre” much to the delight of the studio audience.

And though he’s looking to attain a whole new level of success, Nelly is also proud of his past accomplishments.

He told press, "It's a weird feeling. For some reason, people want to overlook the things I've accomplished from 1999 to now. We busted our asses, just to have people overlook it and downplay it. After so much success in the beginning, they wait for you to not succeed."

"You can't sit up there and tell us we didn't stand up together for 'Country Grammar.’ We got talent here. Don't denounce the things we accomplished."
