Natalie Portman Chows Down at Square One Amidst Bollywood Debacle

Filling up ahead of delving into her afternoon agenda, Natalie Portman was spotted grabbing an early lunch in Hollywood, CA on Wednesday (August 1).

Casually clad in a white t-shirt and jeans, the Oscar-winning actress opted to chow down at Square One Dining while emerging to find a pack of paparazzi ferverously snapping away as she strolled out to her nearby ride.

The outing comes as Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan recently "joked" that he was going to work with Natalie in an upcoming "love story," but media outlets took him seriously and ran the story.

With the claim being completely false, Khan reportedly apologized after receiving a "cease and desist" legal notice from Portman's lawyers, as he's quoted as saying, "It was a joke, I am sorry. It's just that I am very annoyed with speculations on all aspects of my life. If this goes on, I might just start making up stories like these to entertain myself. Hope people will understand that."

Confusing the situation further, another report from the Deccan Chronicle newspaper finds a source stating that no communication with Natalie ever occurred.

Their insider told, "That’s untrue. None of this has happened and there has been no communication whatsoever from Natalie or anyone else in her team. In the clarification, when he said ‘sorry,’ it was to all his fans and followers who had actually believed what was being written. However, some people misconstrued it as a reaction to the (non-existent) notice from Natalie. Again, this is wrong information. A lot is being made out of nothing.”
