Minnie Driver’s Dad Dies at 87

Joining Brittany Murphy’s family in mourning this holiday season, Minnie Driver is grieving the loss of her beloved father Ronnie.

The “Good Will Hunting” actress lost her dad last week when he suffered a massive heart attack and subsequently passed away in London, England.

Minnie and her family held a funeral yesterday (December 23) in the English capital where Ms. Driver wore a bright red dress and read a tear-filled eulogy.

Of her wardrobe choice, Minnie told press, "I am not being disrespectful. I am wearing red because my father always used to tell me that I was the kind of girl who would a wear a red dress to a funeral. So I wouldn't want to disappoint you, Dad."
