Michelle Monaghan Drops By “The Tonight Show”

Taking care of her promotional duties, Michelle Monaghan was spotted at “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last night (September 22).

Michelle was in the house to promote her new movie “Machine Gun Preacher,” due in theaters today (September 23).

During her interview, Michelle talked about her small town roots. “I’m from a little town in Iowa called Winthrop, Iowa- population 700. You can play sports, you can wrestle hogs- that was something that was quite popular, actually.”

She also shared her beginnings with acting- “When I was in high school I did plays. It wasn’t something that I wanted to pursue, but my brothers did it and I loved it. I remember stepping out on stage, and it was the most extraordinary feeling- my body temperature went up and my ears started to ring and it was nice.”
