Michael Lohan Blames Himself for Lindsay's Woes

He's been vocal with press throughout his daughter's trials and tribulations, and now Michael Lohan is telling that Lindsay's legal woes are his fault.

Talking to Larry King Live after the "Mean Girls" actress was handcuffed and taken to jail, Michael said that his girl "handled it all very well. I couldn't believe the strength. And she was just very strong."

Of the situation, he tells, "I just yelled to her, 'I love you, Lindsay. They were taking her out. There's nothing she could say or do."

Continuing on, the Lohan family patriarch said that his "stupidity" led to many of Lindsay's problems, adding, "I should have reacted in a lot of ways before."

Michael also said that Lindsay's younger sister, Ali, is taking the jailing the hardest. "Ali was a mess and it just broke my heart to [see] Ali go through it," Michael said.
