They were together for nearly nine years, but Melissa and Tammy Etheridge have called it quits on their relationship.

According to a new report, the “I Wanna Come Over” singer and her lady friend are no longer an item, despite their September 2003 vows.

A rep for Melissa told press, “Melissa and Tammy Etheridge are saddened to announce they are now separated.”

In addition, the couple told press, “We ask for consideration and respect for our family as we go through this difficult period.”
