She's been busy shooting a new ITV series titled "Superstar", but Melanie Chisholm made time in her hectic schedule to cover the August 2012 issue of Good Housekeeping magazine.
The 38-year-old Spice Girl looked fashionable in a Theory dress for the John Swannell shot front page while dishing about everything from the Spice Girls to being a mother to 3-year-old daughter Scarlet.
Highlights from Miss Chisholm's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Good Housekeeping!
On her current standing with her fellow Spice Girls:
"Our friendship has gotten better with age. The time we spent working together was so intense, and so much happened to us that I think we needed some time apart - I know I did, to discover who I was as an individual... We’ve shared something so unique that if any of us needed one of the others, we’d be there."
On how becoming a parent has impacted her life:
"It changed absolutely everything - more than anything, it changed me. I'm definitely happier. She's the light of my life, even when she's a bit cheeky! One thing that my daughter gave me is courage - I'm definitely more confident now."
On her daughter's favorite singer:
"My daughter's favorite singer is Jessie J - Mummy is her second!"
On when she feels the happiest:
"I have two parts to my life. I have my home and family life, where going to the park and hanging out with my little girl and my partner is one of my golden days. The other part is when I'm on stage, singing - that's the other place I'm happiest. I'm just going to keep myself busy and keep saying yes!"
