Mel Gibson Steps Out for Son's Birthday Bash

He’s been pretty scarce these days, but Mel Gibson made a surprise appearance in West Hollywood last night (November 16).

The “What Women Want” actor showed up at his son Christian’s 24th birthday party at Premiere nighclub, as did his ex-wife Robyn.

And though she’s been ordered by a judge not to speak to the press, Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva told “Larry King Live” she thought Mel was going to kill her earlier this year when Gibson threatened her on the phone.

“I started taping it around 11 o'clock because I thought I'm actually not going to live through the night. I wanted my mother to be able to prove that if I'm dead this is who did it."
