Mel Gibson Retains Visitation Rights

Despite the fact that he’s been caught on tape threatening Oksana Grigorieva and admitting to hitting her, Mel Gibson has retained visitation rights to his 8-month-old daughter Lucia.

The “Lethal Weapon” stud had a hearing yesterday to determine if custody arrangements would change in light of the violent recordings, but the judge decided to keep things as is for the time being.

In related news, it is being reported that Oksana released the recorded conversations after Mel refused to pay her hush money.

An inside source says, “There’s a long trail of evidence” that links Grigorieva to an extortion plot against Gibson. But when he declined to fork over the cash (estimated to be over $10 million) she blew the whistle.
