Paying tribute to the best in African-American entertainment over the past twelve months, the 43rd NAACP Image Awards took place in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night (February 17).
Held at the Shrine Auditorium, the annual ceremony was hosted by Sanaa Lathan and Anthony Mackie while the big winner over the course of the show ended up being "The Help".

For a host of Hollywood royalty, Valentine’s Day meant going to the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards. And there were plenty of beautiful people at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium last night.
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People brought out the stars, including actors and musicians. And everyone looked fabulous.

Fun, funky.. yet kind of fizzled. The most interesting part for me was seeing Roger (Marques Houston), of Sister Sister all grown up! Wow, did he turn out great. The dancing was exciting and energetic. The plot, well it was a little weak. It was entertaining, but it wouldn't have been at the top of my list of must see movies. It was, however, a fun movie! The movie stars the boys from B2K.
