Mary-Kate Olsen’s New BFF

She’s always been a trendsetter, ever since she won the hearts of America back in her days on “Full House.” And yesterday, Mary Kate Olsen was spotted sporting a new look in footwear.

The “Wackness” babe was seen leaving her boyfriend’s house in Hollywood, California rocking a pair of knee-high gladiator sandals that looked like a mix between a torture device and something out of a goth boutique.

Nevertheless, it sounds like the pint-sized actress is cleaning up her act thanks to a new gal pal. Mary-Kate has been spending an awful lot of time with Canadian model Jessica Stam, and she’s proved to be a positive influence on the once-troubled actress.

FOX Pop Tarts reports that over the July 4th holiday weekend, Mary-Kate was with Stam as they enjoyed a plethora of parties. “I’ve never seen her [Mary-Kate] in such good spirits, and she didn’t look anything like her old emaciated self,” a witness told Pop Tarts, adding that she didn’t consume a drop of alcohol.
