Mariska Hargitay Adopts Baby Boy

She’s been family focused ever since adopting her daughter Amaya Josephine earlier this year, and Mariska Hargitay just added another baby to her brood.

The “Law & Order: SVU” star and her husband Peter Hermann brought home their son Andrew Nicolas a week after turning in paperwork for a new adoption.

Mariska told press, “We never in a million year thought it would happen this quickly, but something inside of us knew that this was right, and we said, ‘Yes, yes, yes!’”

“We knew this was our guy. Everything about it felt right. It felt divinely right,” Hargitay continued.

How will they handle two babies? “They’ll lie in the crib together, and she’ll hold his hand and put her arm around him. She’s already so protective of him.”
